need help, vtec running really weak...

Default need help, vtec running really weak...

recentley i have noticed that my vtec had been running really weak, like not that much of a kick as it had a week ago, i have just put more oil in and still nothing, any ideas??

How much oil did you put in it? If it was really low it might not have been enough.

Most of the time it's your oil level or just psychological. Check your oil again and if it's fine, forget about it.

it was pretty low, like below that bottom hole, then i filled it to about the top hole

Also, check your VTEC solenoid screens... There should be two of them, upper and lower... They may be clogged, thus straining the system to get enough oil pressure for VTEC engagement...

Would this still have the sound of vtec engaging but a drop in power???? cuz that is what mine is doing....
