Default Interest? IM gasket superior to Hondata's

I have made an intake manifold gasket identical to the Hondata one. The material that was used is resistant up to 600 degrees. It is almost the same material as the Hondata gasket (white "plastic"). I will have pictures up of the actual gasket kit within a day or to. The kit will include the gasket and stainless steel hardware for reinstallation. Prices will be around 75 bucks for the kit. I am also working on getting washers made in the gasket material which will further reduce heat transfer. Let me know if anyone is possibly interested. PM if you want.

So you cut your own teflon gasket, you want a cookie?

Unless you have some dyno charts or release the type of material that you are using on this "new" gasket. I highly doubt anyone will jump on it.

We can buy the AN-R gasket for like 30 bux which is identical to the Hondata one in every aspect, is teflon constructed, and gets the exact same gain.

Off the top of my head I do not know of any other "white plastic" that is heat resistant up into that temp other than DuPont's Teflon (R). Which sells for about 15 bux for 1 square foot.

Now, if you start using some of the material that NASA is using.... I might be willing to shell out $75 bux on that.

Neither the AN-R one or the Hondata one comes with washers made out of the same material to my knowledge. Nor does it come with stainless steel hardware. Would there be any interest if I could do it for around 50 bucks?

You can buy the nylon washers for like $.08 a piece from a hardware store.

Stainless hardware? For what?

Yeah I bet if you tried using those nylon washers with that much heat they would melt to nothing. The material is much different than nylon.

The Hondata gasket comes with washers. Nylon as I recall, least mine did.
