Default help me figure this out

I will try to explain what is going on the best I can.

When the car has been sitting overnight I start it and it dies almost right away. It starts, revs to 1800 RPM or so then dies within 3 seconds of being started. This has been happening every day for the past two weeks or so.

But the weird part is that it starts right up after it dies. So, I start it, she dies, then start it up again and it's fine. And this happens consistently every day and does the same exact thing everytime. It's not a big deal because it runs fine the second time, but it's starting to get annoying.

Weird, I know, but what do you think is going on?

Motor was put in 10K miles ago so it's not a wiring issue, and the entire ignition system is almost new (8K miles).

IAT possibly or youve got puddling of fuel going on in your intake manifold/combustion chamber, looks at your FPR, or somthing that may be leaking kinda sounds to me like its that.

Or your start/run circuit is getting old, when you are cranking the car, its in start, then it switches over to run once it gets fuel/spark, the circuit could have high resistance, causing you to fire it up once heating up the circuit then firing it twice makes the connection and surpass's the high resistance, look around your ignition switch for this possibly.

I dont know just an idea.

mine did that when the ignition switch was dying. it would start and stall imeddiately. then i could try again and it would work. finally one day it just kept stalling, cause instead of having the 4 positions (off, acc, on, start) it lost the on position and was only off acc and start. so to get it home (i was a couple blocks away) i just held it in the start postion.
