Default anybody with K series having problems with there head?

just wondering because i have been hearing some rumors that valves start to bend and the motor just falls apart at high rpm's

After you get hondata and rev to 8800 rpms I have heard of valves bending. But I personally have not heard of valves bending when reving to 8300. But just beacause I havent heard it doesn't mean its not true. But it would be warrantied. So not that big of a deal.

uhh, I'm revving almost 1k over the stock redline for about 10k+ miles. Car gets flogged daily and has been down the dragstrip probably 60 times or so. 0 problems with motor, not a drop of oil burned. I don't want to jinx myself but its been great so far and I don't forsee any problems.

I've never heard anything like what you mentioned.

Stock valvetrain is good. Correct me if i'm wrong but I believe the exhaust side has Type R springs, and intake is half Type R and half S2000.

its true when k20A3 is REV'd over 8300 k or so, valves do "f" up and warrenty does not always cover over rev... depends on dealer. sucks

Most of these bent valves you'll notice come from people misshifting the vehicle..You'll see the same posts are often made about the GTS Celica..Don't misshift, thats all ..

just get the 02 honda s2k valve springs they fit and only cost like a 100 bucks or so. they can handle 9k

ok, which head are we talking about....is this for the guys with A3 bottem ends and A2 heads, or full A3's with hondata which only rev to 7800, or is this for the K20A2....PLEASE CLARIFY FOR OTHERS

I am cornfused as well, I thought we were talking about the A2 heads and then a n A3 was mentioned..
