The guy who did it said it either a lazy O2 sensor or bad cat. How can i diagnose whether it is the O2 sensor? I need help badly...
what kind of mods are we talking about? stock, IHE, cams, turbo?
how long has it been since the injectors have been cleaned? how about the Tbody?
the options you listed are good possibilities as well, but a dirty fuel system will give you a failed emissions every time.
good luck.

filter on stick, dc 4-1 header, tanabe exhaust.
i also just thought of something. my header is dented at the collector which is also where the o2 sensor is located. i wonder if i damaged it by any chance. ALso, there is no engine light and never has been. i have never cleaned injectors besides the stuff you put in tank. BUt according to the guy who tested, it only failed for one part and whichever gas that is is because of 02 or cat....just trying to find out how to diagnose which one.

yes i put the pressure back to stock but that could also cause a problem. but eteh other gases were okay so i am not turning it up. i figured more gas would cool teh cat down if it wasnt working correctly because of a lean condition but everything is okay. i will grab the chart in about an hour to post results.
easier things that cause failing, which made me pass when fixed:
-replace cap and rotor
-spark plugs
-ignition wires (i had **** magnicores that die quick)
-clean throttle plate in TB if it is dirty, you want it to seat properly
-valve adjustment

Put a bottle of HEET brand gasline antifreeze(little 16oz yellow bottle) in at fill up and have it retested while burning that tank of gas. Maybe it will get you over the hump.

seems like your running a little lean or have to much timing advance. put the fuel pressure to the minium factory spec and put the ignition timing to 14deg that should help it. make sure the cat-converter is warmed up good.
so that means go out and beat the hell of the car before you bring it in for a retest........
how many miles are on the car?

i have 131,xxx miles......but do we have an EGR valve? i really need to know.
Also, i am off alot on the NOx side. the state usally tells people its the EGR valve. i have been able to find gasket kits but not teh actual part yet.

the 90-93 have EGR valves the 94+ don't.
from the looks of your readings the guy didnt properly warm up the converter....... on some honda's it somtimes takes forever to warm up.......they have to rev and hold the engine rpm up to 2500-2800rpm for 3-4min to get the converter nice and HOT.

you don't need any comment from me jimmy D.
One other thing you can try...not exactly sure why it works(never really thought about it)but my old boss use to toss in like 3 bottle of dry gas in the tank and fill it up. take it to the dmv and pass his old cutlas as if it were a brand new car....lol
seriously....if all else fails give that a try.
as other have mentioned.....i think its your cat converter. if its the original you might have to borrow one for the inspection
