Default H22 tuning problems?

I have a JDM H22A w/ JDM h22 ECU in my 4 door 92 honda accord. I don't think it is running at its best. Timing is advanced as best as it can be. I have a custom exhaust without a cat 2.25" piping all the way back and a warm air intake. before installing this engine i read it is a possilbe 14.5 sec car. Can anyone tell me how i can get it to that all motor Cams? I am also having trouble with the redline i thought it was supposed to be at 8200 but right now its only at 7800? dunno maybe a fuel flow problem bigger fuel pump?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Tyler

switch to a GSR ECU and get Hontata. With a good retune you can stop the power from falling off on the topend. Also pull the butter-fly out of the mani.

Are you talking about the AIB BS I have it set to where it is always on the high end runners
It doesn't fell like a 14.5 car because my friends 300 ZX beat me on the highway on 60-90 pulls his car is only a 14.9 car

if you have a dual stage manifold i guess it would use the high rpm runners all the time

When i had my h22 in the accord when i changed to a high flow venom pump it made a load of a difference.. I dont know if they make a walbro for your gen accord as well but that is a great place to start..

You stock pump is already over 10 years old..

What is your timing set at? Do you have an FPR?

Being a stock motor, I wouldn't have the timing advanced at all, just stock at 16°, keep the FPR at about the same, and get it tuned.

I'd recommend on the fuel pump upgrade.

As for the IAB's, keep 'em factory hooked up, but if you have issues with 'em, you might as well hook up the vacuum line from the IAB valve to the side of the IM, or just leave 'em open all the time.
