Since I installed my Wings West big mouth front bumper, I no longer have the bumper lens on my car. As a result, my electrical system detects a non-Honda-spec impedence, and my turn signals blink fast (kinda like when a turn signal bulb goes out, your turn signal will be faster to let you know you need to check a bulb). Somehow I've tolerated this annoyance for the past 18 months... but my tolerance is at an end.
Does anyone have an idea on how I can remedy this problem?

I did have one thought that might work. Replace my turn signal wiring and relays with those from a 5th generation Civic (think 91-95)... Since 5G Civics only have the corner lens, the relays wouldn't be looking for another set of bulbs.

Any ideas people?

 

can't you just reinstall all the wireing and lighting and than tuckit away somewhere outasight. That way the computer will stil go"oh ok there is still lights there" but you just won't see them anywhere.

 

i could do that, but at night it'd be wierd seeing a random glow from behind the bumper or what not....

 

you could meausre the resistance of the bulb and get a resistor put in its place

 

i'll have to check on that, unless anyone knows the resistance offhand? is the resistance info available in a Helms manual?
