Default Hondata & Atts what happens ?????????

what happens to the ATTS when you run a EMS , like hondata, etc.
Is it just dead weight? if so, can you do something about it??

It becomes dead weight. No, there is nothing you can do about it.

the reason that the ATTS becomes dead weight is because there are no HONDATA programs made to accept the signals from the ATTS computer.

I have been told of a few of the guys on the AEM EMS webforum that have written programs that allows them to run the AEM EMS with the ATTS computer. but as for the reliability of it i cannot say.

I have a 2000 Prelude SH. my concern is that when i boost my car I will have to get a new ECU and convert from OBD II and therefor i will lose ATTS. is this true or will ATTS still work when i get a hondata? if so which one do i need to get? thank you in advance. I know that there is someone with this email addy that posts on Honda-tech.com. if you would like i will post all information sent to me or i will let you. i know that if you do it then it will be taken to heart by all SH owners. we all have major worries that any ECU change will screw ATTS therefor making us waste the money on getting an SH. thank you.

Yes, when you swap to an OBD1 ECU to use with the Hondata system, you will loose the ATTS functionality. The Hondata you get will depend on what options you want. More information can be found at http://www.hondata.com/quicktour.html.

is there anyway that i can keep ATTS while getting a hondata? i.e. do you have an OBDII system?

There is no way to keep this with a Hondata, as we do not offer any systems for an OBD2 ECU.

CLIFF NOTES: you can not get a hondata and keep ATTS.

No shakes its all a pattern, the more you learn about your car here the better your car gets. The better your car gets the more gurls like it. So in the end you still bag those bitches.

thats the fantasy... here is the reality

the more i know about my car the more i want to mod it.
the more i mod it the more i spend on it (less for her)
the more i spend on it the harder i drive it
the harder i drive it the more it breaks
the more it breaks the more time i am here trying to figure out how to fix it.

now that is the vicious circle.

I get the favors no matter how hard I drive it! if I drive like a granny it's cause I'm only using one hand for everything, and want to keep it safe. and i still work on the car and break things, and get the lady to help. sometimes when i'm on my back under the car i get favors too!
You're still mean to the poor and helpless.

i couldn't think of anything witty to say...

damn straight it does (seat layed back) - i removed the long box from my 92, lay both seats back, tilt the wheel up, and then drive it hard with the car off!

is that any better?
