I have a 2000 Prelude SH. my concern is that when i boost my car I will have to get a new ECU and convert from OBD II and therefor i will lose ATTS. is this true or will ATTS still work when i get a hondata? if so which one do i need to get? thank you in advance. I know that there is someone with this email addy that posts on Honda-tech.com. if you would like i will post all information sent to me or i will let you. i know that if you do it then it will be taken to heart by all SH owners. we all have major worries that any ECU change will screw ATTS therefor making us waste the money on getting an SH. thank you.

Yes, when you swap to an OBD1 ECU to use with the Hondata system, you will loose the ATTS functionality. The Hondata you get will depend on what options you want. More information can be found at http://www.hondata.com/quicktour.html.

is there anyway that i can keep ATTS while getting a hondata? i.e. do you have an OBDII system?
There is no way to keep this with a Hondata, as we do not offer any systems for an OBD2 ECU.

If you like ATTS that much, you may be able to hook up both ECU's. Use the OBD1 to control the engine, and the original ecu to control ATTS. Don't ask me the details on how to do this though. I know zip about ATTS; does it have a separate controller like the ABS unit, or it is built into the ECU? The original ecu will proably need some of the engine inputs, but just put resisitors on the outputs you want to control with the OBD 1 ecu. It will probably be hard to get the original ecu to run without a CEL, but it may still control ATTS fine. Get out your wiring diagrams and start splicing... Or just get a quaife and toss the ATTS and obd 2 ecu.
