What I have:
2.5 flared to 3" dp
3" SS exhausts pipes from kteller (formerly accordinglydone.com)

what I'm planning on getting:
3" hi-flow carsound cat
3" resonator
3" round turbo exhaust
all of these from kteller. (by the way GET YOUR STORE BACK UP )

Ok, so is this all I need?
Also, what do I need in terms of flanges and stuff? kteller lets you pick flanges on either or both ends of stuff for a small additional charge.
Also, what do i need in terms of O2 sensor bungholes etc? I have one in my dp but on the cat you can pick none, one on either side or 2.
How much (ball-park) should it be to have this installed?
Finally does anyone have this setup? what's it like?

if your going for the extra flow of 3inch IMO a cat and resonator are pointless wastes of money. your just bringing the flow back down.

he will give you 1 3bolt flange, 5 hangers and 2 ubolt clamps(which im not fond of so i didnt use them )

i went to a muffler shop and got the other 3bolt flange to mount up and the matching gasket. then i got 2 2bolt flanges and gasket to make the muffler section seperate so its easier to get on and off.
i only spent like $10 on the extra flanges and gaskets. one thing i wished was that it came with 6 hangers like stock rather than 5 , but all in all a decent set up for the price. cant beat it

 

I am running Kteller's setup It consist of Revhard modified downpipe, flared to 3" after a/c, 3" Flex pipe, then 12-13" of straight that meet exhuast, No cat(waste of flanges and welding Imo ) Plus im obd1 Then its ktellers 3" piping all the way back, no a 3" n1, no resonators, no cat, all straight and it looks and sounds badass .

 

well a high flow cat and a resonator don't restrict flow. I've seen dynos with a straight thru pipe vs a high flow cat and theres maybe a 1 to 1/2 hp difference. Meanwhile theres a 99% difference in the emissions. A resonator is just a straight thru pipe too it's not gonna adversely affect flow while measurably quietening the exhaust noise.
Plus I want to be emissions legal if possible, so at somepoint i'm going to have to weld the dumptube into the dp.
But Im still not clear. All I have is the SS pipes right now.
So are the parts I listed up top all I need? and what kind of flanges and other options he offers should I get? And how much does it typically cost to get it mounted?

 

those "hi flow cats" arent as hi flow as you think . i ran them before and ended up throwing thrm away . good luck none the less.

 

I am using a catco 3" highflow cat and its tested to 1200 cfm. That would support about 700 hp so I dont see much of a restriction with a high flow cat. Plus using a cat and both O2 sensors you dont throw a CEL

 

ok when I have time I will see if I can dig up the team-integra.net post michael delaney made about cats. including testing them.
So should I get both O2 sensor holes on the cat? I have one on my dp already.

 

if you have obd2 then you need to bungholes.
i still think they are overrated as far as hi flow cats. i never really found thme worth the money. other than passing visual inspection.
