Putting together my exhaust setup...few questions
Right now I am running the stock revhard 2.5" downpipe at 10 lbs, but I am planning to run more boost very soon. This is what I am looking into so far:
Thermal 3" turbo exhaust
Carsound 3" highflow cat
3" flex section
As far as the flex section, how long should it be, should I get a 6" or 8" section? Also I need to get a joint to go between the flex and the cat, what kind of joint should I use, a ball and socket style or just a 3-bolt flange with a gasket? Where can I get a flange like that? For the O2 sensor in the cat, where should this be placed in the carsound if I get model without the O2 bung on it, and should I get the short or standard length cat? Lastly I am using a 2.5" to 3" adapter on the revhard downpipe until I make the full 3" pipe. What do you guys think, or is there anything I am forgeting?
Thanks,
Craig

Re: Putting together my exhaust setup...few questions (VanHonda)
any exhuast/muffler shop should have those flanges. On the cat, if your going with the thermal, find out if it replaces cat, or if it bolts up to stock cat(i cant remmeber). Get all the correct measurments so you cna make sure your cat will bolt on without any modification. My setup is similar, 2.5 revhard downpipe, w/transition to 3" on the straigh then 3" flex section(i think mine is 8") but either 6 or 8" will be fine. Then i have another 10-12" of 3" that connects directly to my 3" exhuast
