Default Oil filter block

anyone use one of these?
AC Autotechnic Oil Block Adapters were made to prevent unnecessary drilling in the vehicle oil pan for installation of an oil temperature sensor. AC Autotechnic Oil Block Adapters eliminate all the hassle of installing a oil temperature sensor gauge by utilizing the mounting point of the engine oil filter. Machined from CNC billet aluminum, the oil block adapter simply mount between the factory oil filter and the engine block. Multiple gauge sensor openings allow for different mounting options.

I am currently using the Golden Eagle one for my LS/VTEC line. No problems so far.

this one is $60
does it interfere with the oil filter at all? I mean is there still room to get it in and out?
I assume this is a better solution than going of of the stock sensor point on the block?
