Default HELP!!! My window is fu#@ed!!! And its COLD!!

I put the power window down to get food at the drive through and now it will only go up half way. Its -3 degrees outside!!! It looks like it fell off the track because it stops going up when it hits the rubber by the side view mirror. Is there anyway to fix this without taking the door apart? Thanks.

Nope..gotta pull the door apart and set it back on the track. Mine used to do this all the time. Go get some silicone spray and lube that track up good!

EDIT: To get the window to go up as a tempororary fix loosen up your mirror and roll the window up anyway. The window is getting stopped by the mirror, so just losten it up for the time being..that will keep most of the wind off of you. My car went through a tornado like this and it kept most all of the water out.

holy ****. the same exact thing happend to me. at the drive through, put window up.. didn't go up. wierd.. why the hell did this happen?

here's how you fix it (for a 6th gen.. 5th gen may differ slightly). remove interior crap: 3 screws underneath speaker grill that pops off. 1 screw behind door handle. 1 screw inside armrest pocket thingy. pop that off. loosen the gold 10mm bolt down where the speaker is. slide window back, slide track onto window and bolt everything back up. easy fix

^^ Yep. Don't forget to lube the track though!! I really thought something in my whole setup was bent/broken until I lubed it up. This ended all of my problems in a $2.50 can of silicone lube!!
