I got my panels wrapped in my lude.... All i did was get me a can of heavy duty adhesive spray, spray the backside of the panel and wrapped the vinyl over the panel and stuck it to the back side.....pretty simple and looks real good....

Probly not much different than carpeting a speaker box and i have done that many times in the past... Just get some trim tack spray adhesive (the good kind is about $10) just cut your material and do a dry fit then spray both the material and the panel with the trim tack and let it sit for about a minute then just stick it on and with carpet i stretched it a little to ensure a tight fit and made sure to press real hard and rub around to make sure you get it to adhere well

Any pics? I'm trying to convince my bf to do mine (also a victim of the horrid grey interior).

i'll have pics of my coupe up here 1 day, i store it in a garage couple miles from my house, we can only drive our toys 6 mths of the year the rest of the time i gotta drive my 86 camry automatic its actually nice to drive a car that works 4 u instead of the other way around... but by this time of year i miss my ride already, i've spent so much time & money on this thing already but don't have HT's opinions, it basically looks like every other black coupe on this site, just that every time im gonna take pics my ride becomes victims of haterade sippin *************...

does vinyl stretch pretty easy to go around curves and stuff cause i am going to be redoing all my panels in either that or some sort of tweed in black and i want it to be as easy as posoble and look nice so what would be better

there is some good kind of paint you can get
it runs you a bout 10 bucks a can
looks like stock vinyl and it doesnt crack
the cheap vinyl paint wil chip and crack , and looks very glossy
the more expensive ones, it comes in a blue can , forgot the name but its like 7 color or something like that
one door panel will take like 1.5 cans
its kinda pricey, but it comes out very good

I have tried to cover the armrests of my EK Hatchback with red synthethic leather. For the first try it looked realy good, but there were still some unevenness on the surface because of the glue of the original cloth covering. Be sure to remove all of it to get an smooth surface. Meanwhile I have it covered by a local car upholstery in black leather with red stiching.
