Default Im A N00b

Well this summer im getting a job, gonna try and save up 3000 dollars, sell my truck, hopefully have 5000,6000 bucks to buy a new car. I want to definately modify it heavily but i dont want the basic Honda Civic or somethin if i dont have to.
I'd like to get a Acura Integra GS-R but i dont think i could get a low mileage one for that one, how are the mid 1990 Nissan Maxima's like? Are they a good car to go with, whats the price range?

And whats some other good 4 bangers to consider?

you may want to head over to the integra part of this site for more info on that. you can also get a new EP3 Si for about 15-16k new from the dealership. they are having trouble selling them and are pretty much giving them away. i think nissan's are pieces of crap. an accord is much better car. but, thats my opinion. and, you could always check out an early 90's benz 190 or c-class. i like mine and its a turbodiesel.

if you do decide to get a maxima I would try to get a manual one. The automatics are not reliable as my friend has toasted 1 of them and he doesnt have mods and he doesnt race and his car only has like 80000 miles.
