let me try to reword this...
at around 7200 RPM the car seems to sputer... and i do notice this in 3rd as well.
it's just not as bad.
now i know i'm doing around 115 MPh in foruth so running out of hourse power to push the car could be the problem, but it doesn't "feel" like it's running out of power. when i shift to 5th the power is there untill 120 MPh when the speed limter hits. any help??

Whats your setup? is this a stock motor?
As for the TPS, what makes you think it is bad?
Please post some more info on your setup.

its a stock 95 h22 with i/h/e upgraded fuel pump to a holy that flows 255lph
stock injectors, and no fpr.
and for the tp. at around 3000 RPM it has a dead spot, it just feels like it isn't making any power, but if you floor the gas the dead spot goes away, and you have power again.......
