Default wondering about 5 lug conversion

is this just as simple as swapping the knuckles and spindles from an ITR and the RTAs from the type r as well or must something special be done? how about the ABS calipers? will they be affected if there is no ABS system on the car?

I don't think you want to use the ITR knuckles, you have an EF right?

I doubt they are, even if they are I believe the curviture on the knuckle is much different than DA or 90-91 EX Civic Sedan knuckles. That means your alignment will be very fuct...

I knew these pics would come in handy some day:

Left 90-91 EX knuckle. Right DC2/EG knuckle

You can use EG/DC2 just fine. you will just need a camber kit most likely and for sure an alignment. Bolt up thte five lug and get some longer ebrake cables and your set. Done deal.

and the ITR RTA's are bolt on? what about ABS calipers in a NON-ABS system? would the calipers be affected at all?

Why do people insist on quoting people and including the pics again? Sorry, this is annoying as hell.

Yea No ****!
With a camber kit fully maxed out the wheels might be straight but if you lower it at all I bet you would get some narly camber.

if you use DC kunckle you will get almost 0 camber or even + camber, thats no good for driving, thats why I swaped out the DC for DA kunckles and I end up with -2.5 cabmer which is good for me since I drive the car mostly on the track, if the toe is good then it won't eat up tires
