91 civic lx w/ d15b2....what are my swap options??
I have a 91 civic lx sedan w/ the d15b2 (5-speed manual tranny) and I am tired of my lack of power. What are my swap options? I don't need anything extreme, just a bit more power than what I have now. Let me know what I can do.
Thanks!

It basically depends on what kind of $ you have to work with really. You could get a second gen B16A swap which would be significant increase in power and gearing or go a step further with a B18C1/C5 or even an H22. Then of course you could work with what you have and do a mild build and boost or even convert the stock motor into a mini-me VTEC. There's lots of possibilities, do some research and I'm sure you'll narrow down your choices.
It looks like I'll be doing a second-gen B16A, since my money is somewhat limited...I'll search H-T on instructions. I just want a mild, yet reliable swap since this car is my daily driver as well. Plus i drive my son in this car.
Thanks VTEC Villian!
