Default stock b20z, 2.25 or 2.5'' piping??

stock b20z with us type r exhaust manifold, gsr cat, being a 2.0 liter motor, should i go 2.25 or 2.5 inch on the piping?

magnaflow ss universal ovals or magnaflow ss XL's ovals?

I always heard the rule was not to go over 2.25 on a NA
