car is hard to start in the cold
it's acting like my chevy sb 400. it takes about a minute of cranking until it starts and then it won't run smooth until the engine has warmed up. once the engine has been ran i can crank it back up with no problems. i'm pretty sure i have the timing set correctly now(i removed the distributor), so i'm not sure what the culprit could be now. battery tests out fine. ignition/fuel?
That's pretty much normal for me when it's really cold outside. In the winter, I let my car warm up 10 min (or when it reaches norm op temp) before driving it. Remember, 60% of all engine wear occurs when the motor is cold.
yeah man, crank the key forward to the acc position and
let the fuel pump pressurize a little bit, then crank it over,
see if it starts easier
