Default fuel pressure b16a w/ 35 shot wet N20....searched already

What fuel pressure should i run with this set-up? I want it to run safely and have some protection against leaning out when on the bottle. I searched and only a few things came up which were either not my engine or not a 35shot.

Set-up:
93 del sol si
jdm b16a
Nitrous Express 35-shot wet system
walbro 255 HP
golden eagle fuel rail
aeromotive FPR
no A/C
no P/S
full exhaust....

please specify if you're suggestion is with or without vacuum and at idle or WOT. thanks in advance.

-rob

EDIT: i was thinking 40psi w/ the vacuum hooked up b/c i read a bunch of suggestions for that on modded b16's, but will that be good for a modded b16a w/ nitrous?

I would run it at 40psi. What size nitrous jet and fuel jet are you going to be using?

Is that 40 with or without vacuum? at full throttle or idle?

I'm just running a 35 shot for now....so i'm using the 31 jet for N20 and an 18 for Fuel.

Run it at 43 psi with the vac off. Thats the pressure the manufacturer uses to calculate jetting.

Run it at the pressure those jets are for. The "35 shot" will change depending on pressure. (lean out or richen) You have to use the pressure that was used when whoever (prob the manuf.) determined that those jets equal a 35 shot. I would guess 40 psi with vac line off, but YOU must be sure. Do not pull fp values out of your ***.

Also, you can use fp to fine tune the afr, the man. rec. fp is a good base. (with a wideband of course)

Most of them are based on STOCK fuel pressures. If you add more pressure, you'll probably run rich...

BTW, why just a 35 shot? The B16 can handle 50-75 easy.

Went threw some old flow notes. I came up with this;
43psi fuel constant
950 bottle pressure
.031N2O
.017Fuel
43HP
You do not want to vary your fuel pressure on the nitrous system keep it at a steady rate.

thanks for the info guys.

just a 35 for now to make sure everything is working properly. then definitely a 50. i want to keep the motor in one piece for many many miles to come. its a daily driver that i have to rely on everyday for a 40mile commute each way.

Correct. You will have to play with the Fuel pressure and see works best for you.
