HELP ASAP!!! FUEL PRESSURE GAUGE PEGGED PASSED 100
Today after gassing up my car...my car sounded funny...so i pulled over and listened for the sound...it was coming from the rear of my car so i figured it was my fuel pump...so i just drove it home..when i get home i see that my fuel pressure gauge reads past 100 pegged onto that little stick...is the gauge busted or my fuel pump busted...or the regulator?!?
Are you running stock items? At what point in the fuel line are you reading fuel pressure? Is this a reliable fuel pressure gauge? Your pump is probably straining. Blockage? Fuel filter is bad?
fix it soon.
fix it soon.
I've plenty of those B&M gauges bust... that's why I switched to a Nos glycerine filled gauge. I hope in your case it is just the gauge
If after fueling you hear a strange noise and fuel pressure is 100+ Id say you may have stirred something in the tank and is now bocking the fuel screen. Theres alot of crap on the bottom of fuel tanks its pretty gross ,looks like dead skin. Throw some Valvoline fuel system cleaner in your tank and let it sit over night. they may disolve whatever is in there.
