She is no longer a sexy bitch... =(
I was in a rush this morning and was not paying attention and backed into my girl frinds car. It would have been fine because I was going slow, however, the front of her car has these nice bolts sticking out to attach the front licence plate. We'll it hit right on that bolt and took a small chunk out. Anybody know what I can do to fix this besides taking it to a shop? I'm going to try and hit a junk yard and find a 01 GSR that still has a rear bumper cap with no scratches, but I think I know the outcome of that search. Anyways here is the damage:
I'm going to try and do what someone mentioned about fixing the front lip with touch up paint and realy fine wet sand paper. Oh well, she was bound to get a bruse sooner or later, I was just hoping it would last a little longer then 4 months

Craig - just get some touch up paing and go on with other mods. IMHO, it's not worth fixing a bumper unless it's cracked. I mean, it's there for a purpose... to be bumped. Mine has a nasty deep scratch that took out a dime size chip, but I just touched it up. Beside... it's harder to tell in a black car.
That is why i'm not to upset. My gf was upset because she never parks her car behind mine (I was in the garage, she parked infront of the door). But I told her, I'm going to be moding the hell out of this, its a scratch, **** happens. Anyway, I'm going to be looking for a beater soon so I can drop the tranny and do a final drive and flywheel swap soon. It's the first one that always hurts, but there are bound to be more.
I did have good news when i got in this morning, i got my fly wheel and my spoon calipers are on the way

that sucks...and right after Alex messed his car up too....
ah, what are you gonna do...just touch it up...I still have a 3 inch long scratch on my bumper that I never fixed either, hell I haven't even touched it up, I did that over two years ago...

Yep i'm going to hit it with a knife and cut off the peices that are haning off, then hit it with touch up paint. I can't believe I did not ******* look behind me... so stupid, I only looked out the passanger side mirror to make sure I did not hit the opening for the garage door. Oh well...

Fix it, it'll make you feel better.
I had a worse scratch than those on my RS and it only cost me $250 to fix it. I'm sure you'll find over time, the $300-odd bucks it may cost you to fix it will be worth the anguish you feel every time you look at it... (especially since you know it was YOUR FAULT).
At least get an estimate...
I really empathize with you since I just curbed my front chin spoiler
