CX to a DX swap quetions
i know my cx is a 8v and dx is 16 v both non vtec... i can use pretty much EVERYTHING from my CX on the DX(d16b7)... or will i have to use the D distriburot and alt........right? should be a realy simple swap...right?
my plans are to run the dx then get a vtec head and some other goodies...
flames...bring em on... help would be better tho

distributor and alternator the same. I believe the only diferrent is the single wire 02 in the cX and the 4 wire o2 sensor in the dx. Straight forward swap. Piece of cake. Good luck, i pretty sure alot of guy here will give you the dx part for free or dirt cheap.

All 92-95 civic dizzy are the same and alt. You have to wire up teh 4-wire 02 if you do not use the DX harness.
O2 Sensor Input - WHT to D14 (needs to be a shielded wire)
Heater Control - BLK to A6
Sensor Ground - GRN to D22
Sensor Voltage - BLK to A25 or B1
All 92-95 civic dizzy are the same and alt. You have to wire up teh 4-wire 02 if you do not use the DX harness.
O2 Sensor Input - WHT to D14 (needs to be a shielded wire)
Heater Control - BLK to A6
Sensor Ground - GRN to D22
Sensor Voltage - BLK to A25 or B1

Don't be an ***. If you would look a few posts above, turbogixxer already told you the pinouts for the 4 wire O2 wiring.....
