Should I be concerned with my A/F ratio/timming?
I hope this is not a stupid question but here goes. I'm building my B16A and i'm wondering if I need to buy something to monitor/tune my A/F ratio and my timming. I'll be doing mostly head work.
Skunk 2 cams
ported and match ported intake man.
70mm. TB
springs and retainers
3 angle valve job
fuel pressure reg.
complete exhaust
I might replace the factory slugs with CTR pistons too. I'm concerned about running to rich or too lean. Should I be? I don't want to spend a fortune on the engine but I want it done right the first time. I know I could go with a Hondata or VAF-C to tune the car. But I need to know if it's ness. Also, is there anything else you guys could suggest for my setup? (fuel pump, injectors) Thanks for the help in advance!
The work is going to be done by DH-racing. Has any one ever had work done by them? Are they a company I can trust? Could I get 190-200 WHP like they said with this setup?
