Autometer Oil Pressure Gauge Qs
Car: 95 CX
Setup: jdm d15b w/greddy kit and FMIC
Issue: Installed the gauge w/ brand new autometer sender. When the car is on, it hovers around 75, then when throttle applied gets near 100, but when u just sit there long enough, itll chill at 25. Car seems to be fine, no oil leaks, 4qts of oil in yesterday. The sender is mounted on a T fitting which plugs into the block, then has the oil feed line, then the sender. Imagine a T rotated 90 degrees to your right. What do you think the problem is.

Are you concerned about the high numbers? Those numbers look ok to me. My car shows about the same. As the engine heats up and the oil thins out, the pressure will go down when you're sitting there idling.
Sonny
Now i dont know if it matters BUT...
I have a mechanical Oil press gauge and it goes down to about 15 after its been warmed up and i'm just idling.
As long as the arm goes up while accelerating you should be ok.
Thats what i've been told at least
