Im wondering if im getting a fair deal. Im paying this local tuner shop to install my eibach's for 180. Is that good or should I keep looking.
if you dont know anyone that has a shop and will help you do it or do it for cheaper, then you will end up paying anywhere from $50-80hr for labor. cant hurt to check around, as long as they are reputable shops.
get together with some tuner friends of yours and spend an afternoon learning how to do it. suspension swaps are a great learning experience. its not that hard either..
just dig in an get dirty..any questions thats what we are here for...

heres the thing, i dont think we can get access to a lift
and dont we also need a machine to compress the springs?

you dont have to have a lift to do the springs, only a floor jack that can lift one whole end of the car at a time. I did my second set of springs with a floor jack and rented a spring compressor from auto zone. Since it was my first time it took me about 4 hours. On an accord there are like three bolts that hold the front strut from the top, one that holds it to the damper, and one that holds the damper to the lower control arm. Then there are like two bolts that hold the brake line to the stut. On the back there are two bolts at the top, and then one through bolt that holds the strut to the lower control arm. i took the caliper off the back disk, it made manuevering the oblong strut a little easier in the confined area.

OK, heres a big question, stock theres about a 4inch gap between my tire and top of my wheel well. Now Eibach says it will lower it aroudn 1.8. I really dont want more than a 2.5 in drop. Can anyone who has had these tell me if it really only lowers it 2inches?

i have a 94 accord on eibach sportlines, which is 1.8" front and 1.7" rear. it is a perfect ride height for me and autox. there is approx. an inch of gap left from the wheel well lip to the tire.
You'll end up having about 2 finger of wheel gap, which is far better than the grand canyon wheel gap for stock accord.
you should measure the before and after(after it settle) height, from the center the rims to the fender edge.
Just do it yourself, it's very easy but it just takes time.
