???'S for those with an Infinity Baselink
I see in the installation manual that you can wire it up multiple ways, I want to use line lever converters to convert the allready crossed over signal at the bose sub and input that. Is this the best way?...I am keeping my factory bose sterio with the disc changer in it...I just want a little more low end.
What I did was I got a RCA converter, tapped it in to the signal coming from the bose woofer, tapped the remote wire from the remote from the bose woofer and added the power wire. You can also used the line level since the basslink has the connections for it just tap it in to any of the speaker, run a power wire, don't need a remote, since when you use a line level there's auto on/off feature on the basslink
yeah that's the way to go. Originally I had then tapped to the rear speakers but then swapped them to RCA's when I got a new headunit. Getting a new headunit will definitely help the overall sound quality.
Thats cool, but I want to keep the factory head unit. I'll go with the RCA converter and run some good power wire for it...Then use the amp turn on lead for the Baselink. Thanks guys...Does it hit good, and do any of you have the remote control?
it's decent, sounds nice clean and clear deep low ends....however if you want the car next to you to be able to hear you or people in a parking lot to hear you...the basslink is not good to go ...for the money it's worth it
