Default One problem after another....

I just got done fixing my valve adjustment problem, but now I've got another issue I need to address. My wastegate isn't regulating boost. I've checked the vaccuum lines, and i don't see any leaks. Is it possible for a wastegate to get stuck closed? My car sat in my driveway for over a week in freezing temperatures; could that have messed up something? Give me some ideas....

It shouldn't stick shut because even if it was sitting in the cold once the car warms up.. One thing you could do is replace your vacuum lines if you have no way of pressure testing them.

Ethan,

Hey man are you using a Delta gate?

I have had this problem with mine, when i was using it. It would stick shut and do like 25psi then it would open back up after some time.

Turbonetics

Damn then that is just strange. try what was said earlier and also if you can take off the gate and manually push it open with your hands, to see if it still able to move back and fourth

Ok, I just took another look at the vaccuum lines in better light, and this time noticed a small crack in the tubing near the barb fitting. It's all fixed now. Sorry for the waste of bandwidth. on me!
