OBD1 or OBD2
Depends on who you are? If you are a honda engineer striving for ideal emissions and not letting tuners easily modify the ecu OBDII is the champion.
If you are a performance minded person who plans on chipping the ecu or otherwise extract power from a motor OBDI is highly recomended, they are very willing to accept aftermarket modification (hint hondata systems are based off obdI systems) One thing to consider is if you don't have some sneaky mechanics to get you past the sniffer test and visual insection of properly working emissions equipment you may want to stick with OBDII
