Im getting a y8 head, and a integra port matched intake manifold with throttle body, is it possible to run the teg port matched manifold and throttle body on my y8 head? and if it works will the head with that intake and throttle body be too much for the stock A6 bottom end? i will be running stock d16a6 with y8 head, 89 teg ecu, teg port matched intake and throttle body, and Vafc controller. So what do you guys out there think? your advice is much appreiciated, thanks.

Ummm... Which intake manifold are you using? You're not really making yourself clear.

If you're trying to use the Integra B-series intake manifold with the Y8 head, it will not work.

 

you just have to port match the tb to the y8 manifold

 

yeah the y8 manifold is supposed to be the best manifold for d-series anyway, just match the integra tb to the y8 im.

 

im doin the same thing to my si motor . what tb gasket would i use , the B-series tb gasket ?

the integra intake manifold aint going to bolt to the head.

use the y8 manifold or a z6 manifold if you dont have a y8 manifold, then get the throttle body gasket that matches the throttle body, and use it to port out the manifold..

 

why such a big deal?
i have tried a LS, GSR and B16 TB on the Z6 i had and on the Y8 and they match w.out problems
