Default Greddy Type S Blow off valve... Sound?

I was wondering how the Greddy Type S BOV sounds? Is a good BOV? I got a line on one for pretty cheap. Any advice would be great. Thanks in advance.

Heard it before, but this wav file sounds especially nice...too bad it plays halfway through then states: file format is invalid and closes. Sounds like it's from a supra, at least in the very beginning.

sounds just like a bottle rocket on my friends b18b t3/t4 setup at 8psi. too high pitched and loud for my taste. but it holds boost and it's purple so you can't beat that

You'll find that some poeple love them while others hate them. I adjusted mine to where it didnt leak and i liked the way it sounded. The same will go for all bov's not everyone will like the way a certain one sounds.

The purple top is pretty random/fruity though, i was considering painting mine black.

Polishing is definatly nice solution but a little bright for my taste. I heard anodizing is really easy to do. That would be a good little part to try maybe do it black or gunmetal or something...

I can't get mine to sound like that... I just get a puttering sound from the bov. I tried removing the small spring, but it leaks at idle. What could be wrong?
