I just installed a new MSD fuel pump(PN#2555) in my '94 Integra LS. My question is: Is it normal for the pump to make ALOT of noise? It sounds pretty loud(LOUD HUMMING), and I'm not too sure if that's normal.

Yea it's normal. My Walbro 255lph is pretty loud too, not so much inside the car but yo can definatley hear it outside.

 

I just installed a bosch one, and jeez. Its LOUD!!, im thinking of covering it in mold plastic to deaden the sound yickes...

 

well atleast you will hear if it ever quits on you
but it is kind of annoying, sounds like you got a beehive under your hood.
