Im looking to put custom 2.5 inch piping on my ITR and i was wondering if anyone knew of a quiet muffler to put on. I dont want a loud ricey sounding muffler, just something nice and deep.

 

there's not many that i think are quiet..es or mangnaflow...i rather get the rs*r ex mag and suffer a lil hp loss

 

hytech. hand made, quiet, and 2 1/2" through. Expensive though..about $400 for just the axl back

Hytech is the quietest

 

i have skunk2 cam gears, edelbrock headers, apexi vafc, unorthodox pulleys, and an aem fuel rail. i need a good exhuast and i think my best bet is to get custom 2.5 piping with a nice quiet muffler

 

Either comptech or SMSP (Full exhaust)

 

comptech piping is too small and i dont know where to get SMSP at

full 2.5" mandrel exhaust and good prices on Magnaflow mufflers , its all slip fit and would need to be welded together but for the money nothing will top that setup , period.

 

what size collector is on the edelbrock header. if it is not 2.5, i would sell the header, get one w/ a 2.5 collector (jdm dc), and contact dave @ smsproducts. have him build you a custom cat,or test pipe. i think you would benefit more from that than the exhaust. i ran a dc jdm w/ cat or test pipe from dave and had great results with stock catback.
