Default reliability of uberdata for daily driving

This is for those of you who have or have used the uberdata. HOw was it for daily driving? were there any problems or did everything work smoothly. I drive my car over 100 city miles a day( i am a pizza delivery guy) so i need it to be very reliable. Thanks jay

With zero tuning, just a base map, I drove a good 30-40 miles on Uberdata. I've got some hesitation/bucking as you roll on the throttle getting closer to boost, but once in boost she's smooth as can be. At low throttle/cruise also it's perfect, just that low vacuum issue.

It's worked great for a LOT of people. You'll get more answers if you post in one of the Uberdata threads... there's a 21 page thread near the top now.

Which version are you using right now? I'm hearing the 1.64 version has better tip in and less hesitation than the older 1.2 version

I drive 7 days a week and absolutely must have both reliability and good gas mileage... I rack up about 3-400 miles per week. I've been on Uberdata for about a month now, no problems yet except when I left the ECU cover plate off and blew moist, warm air all over the bare ECU circuitry "Why is the engine cutting in and out??"

hopefully by that point you'll be enjoying the NVSRAM goodness of the PGMFI RTP board... Fingers crossed the next round of prototypes will go production.

Sigh. Amazing how minor details can make it all stop working...

Uberdata is an unreliable piece of ****, even more than the Honda code it's 98% based on. I mean, I used to only burn up three ECUs between each oil change, and not I go through five in the same span.

SiRKid,

If you think about selling your AEM and it's an 00 Si version, PM me. I'm not just ready yet for it, but hopefully soon.
