Default Anyone tryed JUN 3 cams in a turbo motor

Im currently running CTR cams in my turbo motor and was wondering if anyones tryed JUN 3s in there turbo motor, But before u post and tell me that to much duration isnt good for turbo because ive been hearing that for years i want to hear from someone whos tryed these cams or somthing similar, and if HP peaked at a higher rpm like an NA motor, Oh yea im not worried about rough idle or mid range just intrested in peak power (7Kto10K). Thanks

nobody has tried them because there is no point. They are made for NATURALLY ASPIRATED.

True, the overlap will kill you. not turbo freindly. And no you cant dial all the over lap out with cam gears.
stock is turbo friendly

The reason why you won't get any feedback is because most people won't try that combo. There's a reason why parts are designed to work together. You can't just expect to slap all these parts together and "hope" that it makes power.

If you want more peak HP, run a bigger turbo. Just make sure your motor is built to rev that high.

DON'T SWITCH!
I have crower stage one vtec cams and the overlap is killing me horribly on the dyno! I'm switching to some stock GSR's this weekend.

My dyno chart also has a huge (like almost 50whp) drop when vtec kicks in cause of these cams.

I couldn't imagine how much power would be lost from even bigger cams!!

I saw a guy a year or so ago making big power with toda b's on his turbo car. I wish someone would try some Skunk S1's and see what happens.

If you have money to burn, go for it. If not stick with your CTR's.

I am pretty sure JUN has done a test with the stage 3's with a turbo motor... If you read the box the cams come in they specifically say 'These cams are great for naturally aspirated set-ups. They are not designed however for Forced Induction.'

If your loosing 50 hp when vtec kicks im not sure if the cams, my cams are bigger than crower 401s and im fine, i think your problem is elsewhere.

Thanks man thats what i wanted to hear, In that hci mag they built a 87x84 gsr w/skunk stage 2 cams and they claimed like 650hp on 25lbs (using engine dyno). Buts thats just what i read dont know if its true. S2S2 are bigger than JUN3 and it seemed to worked for them.

Dave (dabullet) ran Jun 2's in his race car with god results. Here's the link to the car.
