Exhuast rattleing like crazy
alright look, my hatch is sittin on the ground basically, and i dont know what is the problem the exhuast it is rattling like crazy any idea of what its hitting? TIA
my exhaust was rattling like crazy too and i fixed it by getting new exaust holders...those rubber things...i got aftermarket holders and they hold my **** tight, it rattles no more...replace those and it might help.
Ditto on the rubber hangers. They might be ripped and causing you to hit the rear sway bar, an exhaust heat shield or part of the chassis. Also could be that a heat shield is loose.

Can you be a little more specific, where, the middle of the car, the back of the car, the front of the car, under the shifter, muffler.

well my brother posted this without me knowing, but yea. it's my car. I'm almost positive its not hitting the ground even tho i basically tuck the tires. It sounds like its coming from the right side of the driver seat right under the e-brake, maybe a little farther back. its a custom aftermarket exhaust.

It could also be the headshield that is welded around the cat. On most cats those welds are crap and break easily. My headshield is held on with CV boot bands because of that.
