rear suspension rattles (searched...)
i am running koni sports with neuspeed race in my ej6(ek) and there is rattling sounds coming from the rear suspension... i have checked pretty much everything but can not figure it out. when i have the shocks on fully tight i do not hear it as much... any ideas?
i dont know but mine rattles too. i'm riding stock ctr shocks/springs with rear strut bar and rear sway bar. the squeaks are from the bushings but i also hear a rattling sound. maybe the setup is stiff so other things in the trunk vibrate?
it seems that in the search that this question was asked several times but was never answered with assurance.. i had stock shocks in the car before and it did the same. however when i was running with coil overs, i did not have this problem...
I don't know if this is what your talking about, but... the ek have a problem with the rear trailing arm bushing making a clunking sound after the car has been lowered for a while. it happened to mine and my friends 00 coupes. solution=Mugen hard rubber bushing
like I said before, I don't know if this is what your all refferring too.
btw-there is a service bulletin on it, but Honda just rplaces it with another bushing that WILL go bad again. it's a bitch to fix also.

I've got the same issue w/ my EF & Neuspeed Race Springs. I have no clue what it is, I'll check the bushing out..........hopefully that fixes it, it's been like that forever now.

I'm assuming you are asking me, and no, I'm still on my stock suspension. My exhaust has a HUGE canister (Apexi Dunk) and I have never once had it hit the underside of my hatchy.

sorry meant to ask 'upgraded' but still to lazy to figure out how to quote someone... i may be just the EJ's bushings.... what is the mileage on your 97?
if I knew how to post pics I could post the Honda Bullitin on the subject. It does it in my car before and after I had my JIC's. (before: progress sport springs/stock struts)
