Default 1k turbo kit???

well i did some research on here and some of u guys say u can build a kit for under 1k...im sitting here tryin to figure out how. from my figures its more than that...heres what i got figured and its already over 1k:

turbo mani: at least 350
Turbo: at least 300
Wastegate: 250 (tial)
afc hack: 250
dsm 440 cc injectors: 50-100

all thats already over 1k and its not even the whole kit...intercooler, charge pipes, oil lines, fittings, and other components not even figured in yet...i totalled a whole kit together and it came out to be like 3500...all new parts. so whats the deal on getting a turbo kit for under 1k. i know some things cant be new but im not open to vast resources like many of u tuners are...i cant find deals unless its ebay.

yea. i had the majority of my junkyard kit for about 1200 dollars. just needed some fabrications. plus i used lots of DSM parts. ended up selling a lot. i just searched around for deals. i looked and bought stuff over a 6month period. now im selling stuff at a profit.

junkyard stuff is getting popular. :D demands raise, prices raise.

For reliability sake, I'd probably wait until you can do it right. Nothing wrong with getting used parts, pretty smart actually, you just run a higher risk with getting something for a good price, but then end up replacing it.

You also have to take more caution buying used, dismantling everything and getting it all inspected so that it's running correctly before installation.
