I got it with the CTR pulley. The stock belts fits prefect with that combo. It feels little faster, but I think it is from the crank pulley more than the altenator. The dim lights and bad alternator is a false claim. I had this for a year and I have no problems.

Do they affect idling? Do they raise idle RPM?

The CTR pulley does NOT have a harmonic balancer/pulse dampener.

If you choose to run a pulley with out one, you should definetly look into what it does and its possible effect on engine life.

Not to mention, if you choose to run a pulley with out one, there are lighter ones than the CTR, ie: unorthedox.

I think there are better mods for the $, do some more searching

Spending $200(not sure how much they cost) on some pullies that add 3 hp

I could never let myself spend that much $ to add a measly 3 hp. Maybe look into some Itr cams better $/power ratio.

Everything will run like stock. pulleys doesn't affect idles.

That's why you buy it at Honda-tech. Aem pulley $15 and CTR pulley $50. thats how much I paid. Most people said it is bad, but how many have actually experience it?

Sure hondata is great, but you need whole lot of other parts to net 80 HPs. If you use it on a stock engine, I think 80 Hp will be impossible.

I wasn't directly comparing it to the pullies just using it as an example of why I feel the Dollar/Power ratio is not good . I even stated it wasn't a fair comparison but what i was trying to imply is that 3 whp for the price tag $xxx.xx is not feesable IMO.

ill edit my thread so it's not miselading

Not worth the money. Not worth the risk. Stick with your stock pulleys.
