I just put a d16z6 into my bubble.I am gonna do a customize turbo set up.Is a T28 a good turbo?What is a good turbo to buy?I have about $2000 to play with for the turbo kit.I wanna get atleast 220 hp out of my motor.

 

I know this is like the generic answer around here, but I am in the same situation as you. I decided to turbo my d16 and I have gotten lots of good information by reading past posts in this forum and reading up at http://www.turbod16.com . I would definitely check them out. I think when considering turbo size, you gotta figure out if you want it to spool quick and have good low/midrange power or if you want more power in the top end. Good luck. Wish me some as well.

 

t28 is rather small, it will spool quick but run out of breath on the top end.

Look into some t3 60-1 or small t3/t4 turbo's that way you can also turn up the boost later.

Use search function on here and read, read, read!!!

That is the best way, read what others did and make your decisions based on what you read works good in gerneral, not just for one person.
