Default i need to learn how to drive :(

yeah, i suck at driving....
14.2@99....
2.5 60 ft..so much wheel hop, i got scared and let off as soon as i launched.
i had a loose motor mount...and it's busted. the hydraulic one of course.

car:
98 DX hatch
96 itr
exedy organic piece of **** on itr flywheel
an-r compact header
2.5" crush bent **** for exhaust (no cat)
aem 3" CAI
60psi FP
stock ecu..no add ons
running on 205/60 14 AVS ES100's (friend moutned them backwards..but doubt that affected it) tire pressure was anywhere from 18-15psi
urathane inserts

i'm going to order some Jimfab arms, side and rear mounts, get my other clutch in and flywheel, and run on some slicks....so i can get away from the devil wheel hop

also, i have yet to get on the dyno because of my job...and as soon as i do, in go the RLZ stage 2 cams, SRR cam gears, 255lph fuel pump, obd1 conversion, VAFC, and some tuning.

any ideas what this would run with a DECENT 60ft and some traction?

first off
1. don't let your tire presure get below 20psi, if not 22psi.(unless using d/r's or slicks)
2.fix the motor mount.
3. what are you launching at
4. how are you launching(ie dump, slip etc.)
5. where are you shifting at

1. after all the trying with the tires on several cars....18psi is the best, and 3 ppl have agreed to it unknowinly.
2.workin on it
3.anywhere from 4400-5800
4.slipping, dumping, anything
5.8800....i gained 2mph from moving my shift from 8500-8800

also, the clutch...it's a piece of ****. you slip it and it stops gripping all together. even a little bit of slipping on launch..and it was giving up. 6 puck unsprung on the way

the reason i say don't go below 20-22psi is most radials i've seen "cup" the pavement and don't get a complete and perfect contact patch with the ground.

i'd start at 4600 with a slight slip and work my way up. you should at least be pulling 2.2's with your setup. the new clutch should help quite a bit though.

with good driving and slicks you should run low to mid 13's. good luck

That mph would have you into the 13's no problem. I ran a 13.6 @ 98 mph last year with a 2.0 60'.

Mount the tires the right way! It does make a difference, and can be dangerous in the rain...

That clutch does suck

Fix those mounts!!! They are what's causing your wheel hop..

I ran a 13.91 with your mph with a 2.2 60ft on kumhos..

yeah, rob sux at driving. we went back to the same track a week later with slicks and a fixed motor mount. guess what... exedy clutch cant do a burnout with slicks and he ran the same time with the slicks that he did on the street tires. 14.2 at 99mph..
