making the factory tach more accurate?
I'm under the assumption that the test tach lead is the same lead that runs to the factory tach...is it possible to run it directly from the ECU to get a more accurate reading?
sicne the ecu sees a more accurate reading than the test tach lead (i PROVED IT on my car with a 5", volt meter, and vafc) it just seems it's plausible to make my Si cluster more accurate.

Are you sure? Sounds like you may have just proved that your test tach is faulty.
