Searched not the info I need.... tach dead
I know why its not working. Let me give specs first
-93 Civic CX
-96 B18c
-EG6 gauge cluster
I know that on an OBD2 motor the tach is somewhere in the distributor, but what wire/pinout do I need to tap to get my tach in gear? Also, where do I make the connection with the tach, meaning where on the tach will I need to tap FROM?
So basically, what I am looking for is a Where-to diagram.

Chris...
I dunno what ECU you are going to end up using...but, if you got an OBDI engine harness, and used an OBDI ecu, I think it would save you some headache.
If you want though, I do have the ECU pin outs at home and also what wire on teh dizzy is for a tach reading.
shocked to see a straight answer from me?

Yeah, actually. Im almost postive that it is a blue wire on the dizzy plug. I am running an OBD1 ecu... SO know knock is cancelled. Vtec and PS is wired. just need to figure out the damn tach.

look at the driverside tower harness. On there there's wire that doesnt go anywhere blue colored. connect a wire to that to the dist and you're good to go
