usually is done by a proffesional shop
they flowtest them
they check the injector coils resistance
and they flow the cleaner tru them and clean them up

Some people use Gumout as well. You dump it in your gas tank before you fill up. I am not sure how effective this method is.

You have two choices: a) use an injector cleaner, which you use a couple of times by pouring it into your fuel tank (these work best when you are low on fuel), or b) have them cleaned and bleuprinted, i.e. have a specialized shop clean them, flow test them, and adjust them to specs.

First solution is easier, faster, cheaper, but of course second solution provides the absolute best results Its your choice.....

I like chevron techron. Different from chevron w/ techron. It's in a black bottle at autoparts stores. Cleans fuel systems nicely.

I've removed my injectors and dumped the ends in fuel injector cleaner for 24 hours, allot of the carbon was dissolved....but I junked the car right after so I have no idea if it did anything to help flow

just get a bottle of good fuel injector cleaner and dump it in the tank with a full tank. I prefer the BG brand 44k or 3M and get some intake cleaner spray
