imo, i would have saved my money and swapped a b-series, as 4 doors are heavier and require more power to get moving. the only way you're going to find ample amounts of power with that engine is either a full-motor build up or boost.

if you really want the power that badly, you'd get around smog... you didn't hear that from me (i'm in cali too and i have a jdm b16 in my rex). anywho, i say get a carb-legal greddy kit and slap it on.

well im in frisco and ive been told that the smog center around here are pretty strict about engine swaps ... just yesterday i finally got my car and went to get it smoged and they told me it was MODIFIED... just cause some hoses from the valve cover to the air fiter hose arent connected so tommorow im gonna take it back to the shop so they can quote and quote connect em ( since they arent really needed) i heard that starting this year there are gonna be stricter rules for smoging cars and the shops in cali even have new machines where they actually put the car on to test the h.p and etc....

also where can i get a carb-legal greddy kit?

thanks
