Do i need to upgrade my clutch if I go turbo?
my friend ran a stock gsr clutch with 40k-ish miles on it with almost 400whp and i cant remember the torque, but it lasted about 3 trips to the track before it was completely toast...i would reccomend changing it out when you do the turbo if possible, if not then just dont launch hard until you are ready to put something else in...
it really sucks when you are at the track and it starts to slip bad, my friend potentially lost quite a bit of money at a track event when his decided to take a **** on him, ended up tooking second in his class. luckly a friend got first so its all good

If you like the smell of burning friction material, lots of noise/smoke under WOT, and 17 second timeslip performance right before you call the wrecker, yeah, a stock clutch is fine.
