My 93 Si is starting up fine in the morning considering it's been in the teens all week, but recently the cars starting to idle irratically....jumping all the way up to 3 grand...then back down to 1500....it'll hang at 3 for like 2 minutes, then drop and idle from 1500 to 3000 for like 10 mins till it's warm enough to idle right. Anyone having the same problems?
Same thing happend to my 90 Accord and it ended up being the EAVC i think...correct me if im wrong...but something by the intake mani that needed to be cleaned out. Dunno if the EG's got the same concept...checked all the vaccum lines too and everything looks in good shape with full coolant.
BTW, im runnin' 5-30 so i don't think it's the oil or anything.
Any input would be appreciated...also did a search...but nothing pertaining to the stock D16Z6's.
Thanks
