Default ODOMETER

Today my wife noticed that her odomert & trip odometer dont work in her 96 accord lx.
She thought that since it was cold out maybe something was frozen, so she let the car warm up & let the heat run for 10 min. & still nothing.
So she tried reseting the trip odometer, & they still dont work.
She asked me if it runs on a fuse but i wasnt sure.
So I wanted to turn to the Pro's at H-T.

Any body know what i can do or how to fix it ????

Pull the cluster and check your connections...might just be a bad cluster all together that just took a crap..

swap the cluster...it sounds like its inside of her cluster and you might just have to get a whole new one..

Thanks desolate,
I called my local honda parts dealer & they told me the speed sensor was $120.00, That was way too much.
So i called my wife at work & told her to let the car warm up, push the trip odometer button 2x, & press the maintence button 2x and while she was at it she banged the top of the dash a few times just for luck & guess what.

IT WORKED.
she said she ran a few places & its still counting.

thanks for the heads up desolate.

mine did the same thing, then like a weeks later the sucker only ran to 20mph and stayed there... then after it just didnt work anymore.... it wasnt the speed sensor just the speedo was f*ed up... speed sensor would throw a code if that was the case...
