Yes it is 2.5". I am very happy with the quality and the sound is great. If you are looking for a somewhat quieter exhaust, then I wouldn't recommend it as it is very loud.

It is also available in a full titanium version too. $$$$$!

I don't have any great pictures of mine on my car, but here is one on a different car...

It is not true 2.5" ID, the OD is 2.5". It's actually about 2.38" ID.

There isn't a full titanium version, but just a titanium canister. The rest of the exhaust is SS.

I would go with the Fujitsobo for the power, sound, and price. Btw, this is also coming from a T1R owner.

The T1R full catback exhaust is 2.5" ID (65mm) and the individual peices are 63mm ID.

JDM 4-1, 2.5" resonated testpipe, and T1R 2.5" catback is my setup, gained 16whp and 12wtq also! https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=659143

Is it a JDM DC header?

If not, I'd save your bucks and get a better header first and HF cat. Then keep the stock exhaust or get either a Fujitsubo (for quiet) or an Apexi N-1 or Skunk 2 (for cheap loud) or the T1R (for more expensive loud)

If no tuning is involved and just doing bolt on's, the cheapest well made 60mm to 2 1/2" free flowing catback is what to do.

If tuning it or building an agressive NA, I'd personally contact Dave at SMSP and get a full Header back.

jdm has 2.5" collector.. if you like, get a better header + cat.. - that could make a little difference.

stock exhaust can support much more than you can throw at it with minor bolt ons. - i say keep stock exhaust.

when you need exhaust, custom can be put together for few hundred dollars. i'd recoomend mandrel bent and stainless steel.

i think you'll get better results with jdm 4-1 header plus high flow cat.. a good part of upgrade will be from cat alone.

get the JDM header.. then buy a testpipe/highflow cat and the Buddy Club Spec III. It's loud, but nice..
